At the Center for Advanced Models for Translational Sciences and Therapeutics, we strive to accelerate the “bench to bedside” process in biomedical research and drug development. Our mission is to develop advanced models for translational sciences and therapeutics as part of the University of Michigan Medical School.
We have assembled talents in molecular biology, embryology, and animal reproduction. Our team members are among the first in the world to establish rabbit embryonic stem cell lines, to generate cloned rabbits, and to produce knockout (KO) pigs.
CAMTraST provides services to researchers within the U-M system and in other academic institutes. We also serve pharmaceutical and biotech companies engaged in translational research.
